This specification applies to ordinary and extra-strong seamless copper tubes of all nominal standard sizes for hot and cold water piping, boiler feed lines, and similar uses. The material shall conform to the chemical requirements specified. Tubes shall be manufactured from one of the C10200, C10300, C10800, C12000 and C12200 copper UNS numbers. All tubing is to be supplied in the specified annealed, lightly drawn or hard drawn condition.

Pipes shall be manufactured using one of the C10200, C10300, C10800, C12000, and C12200 copper UNS numbers.
UNS C10200: Oxygen-free, without residual deoxidizer
UNS C10300: Oxygen-free, ultra-low phosphorus
UNS C10800: Oxygen free, low phosphorus
UNS C12000: phosphated, low residual phosphorus
UNS C12200: phosphating, high residual phosphorus
